Dairy Farm In-charges are responsible for the maintenance of facilities related to dairy production and the care of the dairy herd. They should work directly with the raising, feeding and milking of the herd.

They need to be able to communicate their ideas effectively through writing or speaking, and they must be well versed in animal husbandry so that they can manage the health of the herd.

Additionally, dairy farm in-charge must demonstrate good leadership as well as dependability. Because they may fill in for subordinates, they also may have to be flexible in their work schedules.

An Agronomists should think critically to solve problems. First and foremost, he should be able to experiment and plan studies to improve crop yields. He should study a farm’s crop production in order to discern the best ways to plant, harvest, and cultivate the plants, regardless of the climate. It is also important for him to develop methods to control weeds and pests to keep crops disease-free.

He should have mathematical and analytical skills in conducting his work and experimentation. Complex data and information that he develops must be worked into a serviceable format for public consumption. His ultimate goal is to work scientifically to produce the finest crops, on the most consistent basis that they can, in any situation.
