19th to 30th December 2011: Global Classroom South East Asia 2011
‘Experience is a superior form of education and tourism today has emerged as the best aid to experience.’ Taurian World School organized its first international trip of 12 days to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore where the students went with the motive of cultural exchange. It has helped in the overall personality development of the child. TWS students had a cultural exchange programs like sports, folk dances with the local students of Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. The students attended the Malaysian Youth Council Govt. of Malaysia’s full day program. At the end of the trip a felicitation ceremony was held. Each student was lauded with honor by the host country.

24th to 28th December 2011: Shivpuri Domestic Trip
In their trip to Shivpuri, Taurian World School (TWS) students visited the Rajaji National Park, had an exclusive view of Ganga River, went to Golf Course, Club House, the NIM Beach and did various adventurous activities such as Rafting, Roller Coaster, Cliff Jumping, Rock Climbing, Rappelling etc. The Student of TWS also got a chance to interact with the local school students, work with them on a local village project and have learned many life skills from the domestic trip. “At TWS we believe in continuously improving the overall personality of our students. Such excursion trips are a good way of imparting knowledge about different cultures and various life skills”, says Mr. Atul Bhatt, Principal of TWS.

29th January 2012: Classical concert "Enchanting Souls - Delight your senses" featuring Ustad Amjad Ali Khan
On 29th January 2012, Sarod Samrat Ustad Amjad Ali Khan treated music lovers with a scintillating performance where melody and rhythm came together at the Taurian World School Amphitheatre. The Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan along with his two sons, Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan, took center stage at the “Enchanting Souls – Delight your senses” annual classical music concert. The show kicked off with a sparkling Classical Dance performance by Saanvi Jain and Tanvi Sharan, students from TWS. This was followed by a Classical Song by Nelisha with Om Kr. Mishra on the tabla and then came a delightful performance of Kathak and Jugalbandi by Mr. Sandeep Mahavir and Group. As people held their breath to see the star of the show, Padma Vibhushan awardee, renowned Sarod Virtuoso Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, accompanied by his two sons, Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Kan, delighted and captivated the audience with a performance that was both memorable and inspiring.

1st to 11th June 2011: Aqua Fun at TWS
Taurian World School in collaboration with Aquafun (part of the Aar Ess group) organized a 10 day Aqua Fun event at the TWS swimming pool. The students were introduced to various fun aqua equipment such as Aqua Track, Aqua Duel, High Jump, Long Jump, Kayaks. The purpose of this event was dual in nature: 1. to ensure that the students have fun in the safety of the TWS swimming pool 2. to take away the fear of water from the minds of students through fun. The event culminated with an "Aqua Games" competition which was held on the last day of event where the students got a chance to show the skills that they had acquired over the course of the event.

30th June 2008: Taurian World School Opening Day
The Taurian Group has for some considerable time been the byword for innovation and professionalism. With this view Taurian has embarked on a fresh initiative, this time to provide its home state, Jharkhand with an initiative in world class education to groom future leaders of the state. Amith Bajla, Chairman, an LLM from the respected London School of Economics has envisioned a concept that aims to achieve this objective. This vision has become a reality and is called Taurian World School. Taurian World School’s vision is to provide world-class education for its students and emphasizes the traits of character, attitude and personality. In the words of the chairman, Mr. Amith Bajla, “Taurian World School is my tribute to children.”

25th November: Visit to Orphanage - “Springs of the Living Water”
Besides involving students in extra and co curricular activities apart from Academics, Taurian World School also believes in encouraging students to understand Social Responsibly as well. Following this spirit the Students of TWS along with a few Teachers visited a 20 year old orphanage “Springs of Living Water” and donated clothes among the 50 Kids residing there. This orphanage is supported by a church that was founded in 1981. Pastor Sunil Kachhap is actively involved in taking care of these 50 orphan kids and supporting their education. It was an emotional and enlightening experience for the students.

19th to 20th November 2011: Inter State Squash Championship - Taurian World School hosts Jharkhand’s ‘First Interstate Squash Tournament’
Taurian World School’s ground buzzed with excitement as the school hosted the flagship Inter- State Squash tournament of Jharkhand. It was an extremely proud moment for the school. Players from all across the Jharkhand State, like Dhumka, Dhanbad, Bokaro , Jamshedpur & Ranchi participated including 20 of the best players of Taurian World School. TWS prides in having the best landscape and campus spread over a sprawling area. The Squash court is made, in keeping with international standards.
